UBC Blockchain is a social club for innovative students, connecting them to the industry and providing access to high-quality educational materials and opportunities.
We provide an engaging experience for students regardless of previous experience. Through social events, educational content & sessions, and collaboration with companies, our club bridges the gap between the fastest-growing industries in the world and UBC’s brightest minds.
Blockchain adoption is growing rapidly and is becoming one of the world’s most important technologies. Over ¾ of the senior executives polled In the 2021 Deloitte Global Blockchain Survey thought digital assets will serve as an alternative to, or outright replacement for, fiat currencies in the next 5–10 years.
